I have been obsessed with this album for weeks now. In the beginning I wanted to hear nothing but blasting, then I learned to appreciate the slow paced groove sections. In general the album sometimes feels a little mechanic and long-winded, missing some spontaneity. Still it is hard to single out one particularly stellar element in this album, it's all excellent. The song writing, the riffs, drums, the vocals, the mixing.

Thanks for leeding me here, Ippocalyptica. This is indeed compareable to Marthyrium's 2023 masterpiece in terms of relentlessness and intensity. The guitars are sharp enough to cut through diamonds. The dissonance and the melodies are perfectly woven together with the fierce, unmistakingly French vocals. Since this is 8 years old, a follow-up would be greatly apprechiated.
